Don’t Drink … Play!
Sunday, 31. August 2025
If you enjoy having a a cocktail every once in a while, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you intend to use on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you always drink alcohol and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is compulsory. If you wager to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to burn your assets without a worry, then consume all the gratis booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunk as a skunk self loses all the cash!
Let me to take this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the internet to wager in your preferred online casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my apartment, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s certainly enough to blur my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
