If you enjoy having a a beverage occasionally, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you intend to squander and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You might experience a success following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply don’t go well together.
Keeping your money at home is a little bit excessive, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is compulsory. If you bet to win, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to blow your cash without a concern, then drink all the free booze you can handle, but do not pack charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your bombed brain loses all the cash!
